Cities and regions boosting innovation in waste sector with ACR+
ACR+ is an international network of cities and regions that has been facilitating the exchange of information and best practices on material resource management, following the multi-R approach (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle – and more), and this since 1994. The network gathers almost 90 members, representing more than 1000 municipalities, including cities and regions with the most active waste and resource policies. In an innovative and transparent way, ACR+ encourages the evolution of material resource management to increase the adoption of more circular methods.

The minutes of the PPI4Waste final conference as well as some of the presentations made on that day are now available on the event’s page. Amongst others, participants and speakers agreed that more cooperation is needed to support public procurement of innovation (PPI) and help increase the uptake of innovative solutions for waste management.

Publication of PPI4Waste final conference brochure
Throughout the PPI4Waste project, reports have been published by the project consortium to summarize the outcomes of the different activities. To present all these reports in a single document and thus provides an overview of the work accomplished during the project lifetime as well as gathers key information on the project activities, a brochure has been published.
