The Expert Group was composed of key experts at European level: on the one hand representatives of key institutions in the field of waste; and, on the other hand, of innovative public procurement expert.
Areas of expertise included:
- Waste management
- Municipal waste policies
- Innovation for municipal waste prevention and management
- Public procurement of innovation practices
Experts oversaw the project’s progress and were particularly involved in:
- Defining and assessing possible needs and emerging solutions
- Providing technical information and advice
- Helping to ensure the good quality of the project results
- Engaging in collaborative activities and building capacity for preparation of coordinated public procurement of innovative waste solutions
